Hellion - s/t (1983)

To be honest, there's not much here that separates Hellion from countless other bands - mid tempo and slightyl fiery heavy metal full of cliches and sultry, if slightly strained vocals courtesy of Ann Boleyn, but all good fun though. Hellion lack the songs to really do any damage, 'Lookin For A Good Time' hardly a stand out as it suffers in the production, lyrics and rather formulaic basement stomp. Hellion never reached the heights at all, I can imagine such a band may have been ideal as a support act back in the '80s for more shock horror bands like W.A.S.P. or Twisted Sister. Even so, they stuck with it and were producing records up until just a few years ago, but their albums always lacked the depth to create a stir. I've heard a lot worse but millions better. 5/10
