Taist Of Iron - Ressurection (1984)

Good God, where did all these female fronted metal acts come from ? This is real antique sounding '80s metal that was so obscure that even the import racks may have missed it. Lorraine Gill has a fair set of Satanic pipes on her and she belts her way through 'Metal Meets Metal' as if life and leather depended on it, guitars cranked up this oaken slab of creaky nostalgia may have you reaching for the pet cat for a bit of Devil worshipping by the glare of the candle. If not, just check out the chugging riff of 'Victim Child' and ask yourself why you spent so many years wasting time listening to those Whitesnake albums! 7/10
