Vectom - Speed Revolution (1985)

Well, I sure as hell never got to experience this record first time out, but in today's climate it still stands strong as a black thrashing beast of oily leather and spikey sadism. This really is an old school affair of rancid vocal sneers and clanking, punkoid face ripping guitars that takes us back to those iron-clad days of Voivoid. Vectom inhabit the same debris strewn environment - one that brings grey plumes of smoke and nihilistic attitude, 'Damned Love' seething slo like some rusty serpent before winding headlong into a skull cracking rattle. Vectom are about as appetizing as barbed wire. This revolution most certainly will not be televised! 7/10
