Bonfire - Point Blank (1989)

Is it just me or does 'Bang Down The Door' sound like Alice Cooper ? Even so, 'Point Blank' is another quality record from hair metal heroes Bonfire, all the sass and sultry swagger of those big anthems rolled into one. I was a big fan of their 'Fireworks' record and this, thankfully, is more of the same, from the throbbibng late night radio feel of 'Know Right Now' to the beefy sway of 'The Price Of Loving You', it's just classic rock. Apparently this was never released in America, am I correct ? This drives harder than a majority of pompous '80s bands, and extremely underated too. 7.5/10
