Mania - Changing Times (1989)
A little know European band who featured on the Noise Records roster. This has a strong Iron Maiden feel - especially in the vocals, but also plays out as a power metal opus with elements of thrash, pure molten metal in fact, big on melodies, especially in those soaring choruses - ''The Expulsion' is pure Maiden, featuring some great guitar work, as does the raging 'We Don't Need War' and the more classic Goth sounding 'Be Strong' with more Dickinson-esque vocals which attempt to shatter glass. Hearty metal from Germany that knows how to fry the brain cells.
